Why rancher service disconnected sometimes?

I used Rancher to deploy a Rails application.

I created two services. One used for install node packages and db migration. The other one used for Rails application.

  • Deploy Docker from Travis to AWS (or any other SSH able server)
  • Running nginx-proxy in docker with ssl
  • RabbitMq Spring Boot deploy docker
  • How and Where does the official docker image of postgreSQL persist its database
  • Install cURL compiled with OpenSSL and zlib in Dockerfile
  • Docker Compose (docker-compose) couldn't connect to docker daemon on Windows Server 2016 TP5
  • The second service works well. But the first one sometimes disconnected. So it is necessary to install the node packages again. It’s crazy!

    The services are:

    • a. myapp_setup service: sometimes disconnected
    • b. myapp service: works well
    • c. postgres service: works well

    a depends on c. b depends on a and c.

  • Keep getting Could not read CA certificate when trying to start docker
  • how to set docker_opts on windows
  • Windows docker image build hangs on creating a directory
  • Why change NGINX file locations?
  • New to docker, is it possible to protect my source code and add permissions?
  • Difference between Docker and OpenVZ
  • One Solution collect form web for “Why rancher service disconnected sometimes?”

disconnected is not one of the possible states for a Service so I’m not sure what you mean. Are you talking about the Host(s) the Service is running on? Hosts have a disconnected state, which means the agent container on it does not have an active connection to the rancher/server container.

Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
