Why rancher service disconnected sometimes?

I used Rancher to deploy a Rails application.

I created two services. One used for install node packages and db migration. The other one used for Rails application.

  • docker toolbox windows 7: stops working when disconnecting from LAN
  • Docker toolbox cannot allocate memory
  • How can I open up webcam and process images with docker and OpenCV?
  • create multiple tag docker image
  • how can i dynamically create a docker container from a node application
  • How to link two docker services in coreos with flannel?
  • The second service works well. But the first one sometimes disconnected. So it is necessary to install the node packages again. It’s crazy!

    The services are:

    • a. myapp_setup service: sometimes disconnected
    • b. myapp service: works well
    • c. postgres service: works well

    a depends on c. b depends on a and c.

  • PM2 exiting when watched files change
  • Docker unable to mount volume with node app
  • Collectd not pushing data to influxdb
  • What is the proper endpoint for connecting to azure container service swarm cluster from c# https://github.com/Microsoft/Docker.DotNet
  • 'su' command in Docker returns 'must be run from terminal'
  • Docker container won't run through a “CommandError:”
  • One Solution collect form web for “Why rancher service disconnected sometimes?”

disconnected is not one of the possible states for a Service so I’m not sure what you mean. Are you talking about the Host(s) the Service is running on? Hosts have a disconnected state, which means the agent container on it does not have an active connection to the rancher/server container.

Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
