What is the procedure for addition and removal of capabilities in docker?

I need to enable some more capabilities other than the one provided by default. Docker documentation says it is possible to modify using a non-default profile. How to do this?

  • Jenkins pipeline groovy string compare
  • Docker bash'ing with find
  • Create keyspace automatically inside docker container with cassandra
  • docker shared volumed not working as described in the documentation
  • How to forward eclipse in a docker container through a linux proxy?
  • ssh pseudo-tty causes PTY allocation request failed on channel 0
  • Can't reach ActiveMQ from inside Docker container
  • How can I access Docker set Environment Variables From a Cron Job
  • Can't deploy artifact to KIE-server via Drools workbench because of “ConversationId not valid - missing releaseId”
  • Docker daemon log for Docker for Mac
  • docker-compose conflicts with Dokerfile entry-point script
  • Spring Cloud Config Server Won't Serve from Local Filesystem

Recent versions of docker support the --cap-add and --cap-drop flags to docker run. These let you modify the capability set available to a container when it starts.

Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
