Upload to s3 from docker container running inside ECS not working

I have a laravel application running in a docker container hosted on Amazon ECS. I’ve configured the storage driver to be S3 and all its corresponding configurations are perfect (as they work well on my local env and an ec2 instance).

But the same configuration on ECS times out and leaves no logs on s3 or laravel. Someone please help me understand this problem.

  • Use RDS or a container (ECS) for database? Advantages and disadvantages
  • Publishing Docker to AWS from Visual Studio
  • Issue in “Accessing S3 bucket from ElasticBeanstalk using Docker Json file”
  • Kafka on AWS ECS, how to handle advertised.host without known instance?
  • AWS EC2 Container Service / Elastic Beanstalk Docker Container Port udp binding
  • Strange behavior of celery workers in ecs docker container
  • Thanks.

  • What is the proper way to “combine” Docker images?
  • docker ENV vs RUN export
  • Pass environment variable from docker to supervisord
  • Docker apt-get update yields 401 Unauthorized
  • Docker: Where to store version of multiple images for docker-compose?
  • Does “docker-compose down” invoke “docker stop” on each container?
  • Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
