Unable to install node 7.5.0

I am trying to install nodejs in a docker container

Using curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_7.x | sudo -E bash –

  • Can I run a docker container with an own, externally and host accessible, IP address on a Mac
  • Restricting file access of Docker container
  • Docker link to existing container or image at build
  • Unable to use variable substitution in docker-compose
  • chef-container + chef-vault
  • Dockerfile COPY {source-…}
  • as per the instructions on nodejs.org

But it seems to always install v 0.10.29

Will appreciate any help on this

  • elasticsearch in docker cluster name is same but not clustering
  • Reusing docker environment variables in CLI
  • Should I create a volume for project files when using Docker with git?
  • Mapping exposed ports on Bluemix containers
  • Use gcloud with docker
  • Docker Container DISALLOW/DISABLE communication between containers
  • One Solution collect form web for “Unable to install node 7.5.0”

Or you can just use the prebuilt node Docker image on DockerHub

    RUN apt-get update
RUN apt-get install -y curl nodejs
RUN curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_7.x | sudo -E bash

Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
