remote docker commands execution

Now I have two laptops (not necessary in one local network) and docker installed on both of them. My goal is to run docker daemon on the first laptop and be able to execute commands using docker client on the second laptop. What should I do to achieve the goal?

  • Application connect to container directly
  • Docker upgrade link container
  • How can I copy a Docker image fetched from the Internet and move it to a host not connected to the Internet?
  • Redirect users to different domains of the same web application according to their ip address location
  • Docker: unexpected error (Failure EADDRINUSE)
  • How does one close a dependent container with docker-compose?
  • Access docker-machine containers from external network
  • Running mysql_upgrade in Docker?
  • Open a WebSocket connexion from a docker container to another (able to ping container in cli but not via ws)
  • docker gave me fail error while building code
  • Docker Hub - Automatic build on tag with regex match not triggered
  • How to run a Windows GUI application from a Windows VM on a Docker installed on windows?

Follow the public API? Docker Engine API

Setup Docker to listen for TCP connections on a specified port and protect that port with TLS. You must setup some environment variables so the Docker client communicates with the Docker daemon.

    Enjoy, and have fun.

Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
