Pre Configured Environment variables in Jenkins

I am running Jenkins though the docker image.

I want my Jenkins Installation to come up with few pre configured enviroment variables.

  • Transforming Web.Config in a Windows Docker container
  • Nginx doesn't get host from embedded DNS in docker 1.10.1
  • Provisioning a docker image with chef
  • can't connect to local mysql server through socket while running db using volume
  • Network slowness between Docker container and localhost
  • Jmeter and Docker
  • Is there any way I can copy some of my environment variables, so that when I bring my jenkins up, it should come with these pre-configured environment variables ?

    Or
Where are the environment variables stored in the Jenkins installation ?

    TIA.

  • Copying file from host to container
  • Docker cannot log into existing container on amazon EC2, takes forever to respond
  • Can close properly a websocket with docker
  • execSync compilation failed with npm 3
  • Docker daemon memory leak due to logs from long running process
  • OpenShift 3 - Build “cannot be started due to lack of disk space”
  • Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
