kubernetes stateful set connection

I start experiencing with statefulsets, and I’m following this link on kubernetes website

  • Ansible and docker: locally build image get pulled and causes failure
  • AWS Elastic Beanstalk VPC - HTTPS from ELB to instance
  • Configuration or option in docker run to fail if host volume has no write pemissions
  • Docker error: HTTP 408 response body: invalid character '<' looking for beginning of value
  • chowning a docker folder from dockerfile
  • Docker cloud service link for Ruby on Rails application
  • How can I connect my java application to the mysql database statefulset (they are all in same kubernetes cluster node and namesapce)? what service should I connect to ? which address should I use ?
    I tried mysql-read.default.svc.cluster.local:3306 didn’t work !!!

  • AWS Beanstalk docker image automatic update doesn't work
  • How to cache package manager downloads for docker builds?
  • Connection Failing to Docker Container
  • kubernetes on ubuntu 16.04
  • how to get docker container to read from stdin?
  • When doing an automated build on docker hub--with bitbucket repo--do I still need to include a “git pull” instruction in the dockerfile?
  • One Solution collect form web for “kubernetes stateful set connection”

This question was cross-posted to the Vitess mailing list and was solved there. It turns out this happened because the user modified the tutorial setup to add a password for the root user. As a result, readiness probes that expected password-less login to work were failing, and the mysql-read service was left with no valid endpoints.

Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
