Kill processes inside docker container after daemon restart

I’m using docker 1.1.0 with default driver on ubuntu 14.04.

Restarting docker daemon does not affect running processes inside container: they are still running, but docker ps does not show any running containers. All these processes now have /sbin/init as parent process (instead of /usr/bin/docker -d).

  • Docker, Django and Selenium - Selenium unable to connect
  • cannot create JDBC datasource named transactional_DS while implementing Multi-instance in moqui using docker
  • The list of containers could not be retrieved
  • Python exceptions in Docker logs marked as stream: stdout
  • How to get a secret from HashiCorp's Vault HTTP API into a docker container?
  • Managing dev/test/prod environments with Docker
  • Is it possible to automatically kill all these processes whenever its parent process (docker -d) is killed?

  • Is there a way to stop, start single task in docker swarm mode?
  • Docker container cannot access internet, only ping works
  • Is it possible to set the default command when the `docker exec` command is run on an already running container?
  • Can't connect to Windows 10 Docker mysql
  • /bin/sh: 1: python: not found while running docker container
  • Python webscraper using selenium works normally but not when headless
  • Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
