How to mount special folders in docker-compose.yml

I’m running docker for windows and I need to mount the user home directory for a container within a docker-compose file. Is it possible to do something like the following?

"${HOME}/blah:/blah"

It works fine with an absolute path but I don’t seem to be able to get it to work with an environment variable.

  • Install + start ssh in dockerfile derived from official jenkins docker image
  • Travis rebooting pretty often during runs with Docker involved
  • Connect docker container to database in host's local network
  • Using the postgres image in a test
  • Create symbolic link fails in Docker for Windows, it's not supported yet?
  • Cannot use vim, vi, nano, yum inside docker container
  • docker-machine env default | eval “$(docker-machine env default)” | unable to run command docker
  • docker postgres data on build step
  • Docker pull by digest does not work with Docker 1.13.1 & Artifactory 5.0.1
  • Cannot access page on localhost, ports not working Hyper-V?
  • Issue with docker compose db2-express c
  • bundler installed gems not persisting in fig/docker
  • Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
