How to mount special folders in docker-compose.yml

I’m running docker for windows and I need to mount the user home directory for a container within a docker-compose file. Is it possible to do something like the following?

"${HOME}/blah:/blah"

It works fine with an absolute path but I don’t seem to be able to get it to work with an environment variable.
