HAproxy: dynamic count of hosts for scalability

Is it possible to configure a range of ports in HAproxy?

I mean if I want to scale docker containers and first I want to run e.g. 50 containers and with docker-compose I scale up to 500. Is it possible to configure HAproxy, so that it dynamical knows how much containers (or hosts) it has for load balancing?

  • Docker nodejs not found
  • @Configuration inside jar not getting loaded
  • Create named docker volume with docker-compose?
  • wercker.com connect to MySQL database
  • Provide static IP to docker containers via docker-compose
  • running a webpack watch process in a separate docker container
  • Docker container data goes blank when mapped with host data directory
  • Docker Windows Container - DockerFile set iis default document
  • Getting “broken pipe” when building Docker image using boot2docker Mac
  • multiple SLF4J bindings on maven run in docker
  • Docker wait for postgresql to be running
