HAproxy: dynamic count of hosts for scalability

Is it possible to configure a range of ports in HAproxy?

I mean if I want to scale docker containers and first I want to run e.g. 50 containers and with docker-compose I scale up to 500. Is it possible to configure HAproxy, so that it dynamical knows how much containers (or hosts) it has for load balancing?
