Hangs on run and exits only with CTRL + C

These are our containers:

  • How does .NET Core on Linux determine what port a SQL Server instance listens on?
  • Sending logs from docker container to FluentD
  • Docker compose linking to mariaDB
  • Can I use logspout for global syslog logging on Docker swarm?
  • Pass command line arguments to Docker with Ansible
  • Is it possible to run android emulator / android apps in docker?
  • PS C:\Users\bigfo> docker ps -a

    This is our docker version:

    PS C:\Users\bigfo> docker -v
    Docker version 17.06.0-ce, build 02c1d87

    The following hangs:

    PS C:\Users\bigfo> docker run hello-world

    Two questions:

    1. How can we troubleshoot this?
    2. How can we resolve this?

    We’re on Windows 10.

  • Find out which network interface belongs to docker container
  • Can you add initial data to a volume in Docker that is available on pull?
  • is there a way to negate a pattern in .dockerignore?
  • Docker root directory issues
  • Set the port for docker-compose.yml at runtime
  • docker-compose rails app doesn't find db when using up but does when doing run
  • One Solution collect form web for “Hangs on run and exits only with CTRL + C”

On Windows the fix was to restart Docker.

    First quit docker …

Quit docker via the task bar.

… then start the daemon from a shell (such as PowerShell) …

    PS> & "C:\Program Files\Docker\Docker\Docker for Windows.exe"

Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
