Error when creating a Docker container with MongoDB in it

I’m currently on Ubuntu 13.10, fairly recently installed. I’m following Docker’s tutorial on how to create a container with MongoDB (here), and I’m getting errors when installing ubuntu packages to it, I think.

    Did you get any trouble with your internet connection? the apt-get update command failed.

    If you just need mongoDB on a container, you can do docker run mongo, which will download and run the official mongoDB image.

    Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
