Docker Storm Cluster Example

Has any one looked at https://github.com/wurstmeister/storm-docker

How exactly do you run an example topology on the cluster?

  • Docker - Unable to use placeholders inside ENTRYPOINT
  • Why does pushing a Docker image fail with “dial tcp: lookup cdn-registry-1.docker.io on 192.168.1.1:53: read udp 192.168.1.1:53: i/o timeout”?
  • Secure Logging drivers with Docker?
  • Vagrant and NGINX only works on ports other than 80
  • Not able to install the gem “rmagick” with docker
  • MongoDb docker hangs after some requests
  • This might be a docker question but although the project is very useful the is no simple documentation of how to run a helloworld topology on it.

  • Alternating provisioning with Vagrant
  • Docker - How to access a volume not attached to a container?
  • Can docker log to multiple gelf destinations
  • Dockerfile build error and writes to another folder
  • Configuring application in docker container to access other containers
  • How do I map volume outside C:\Users to container on Windows?

You can override the host address with:

    storm -c nimbus.host=localhost:4242 jar class

where 4242 is the port used for the container who run the nimbus.
