Docker – Jenkins Image

I am building jenkins slave using docker image.

Need to install git on to the docker image. How can i do that.

  • Forwarding traffic between two interfaces
  • docker-compose volume on node_modules but is empty
  • Export RabbitMQ Docker image with vhost and queues
  • Visual Studio 2017 Docker project on Windows volumes issue
  • Docker Nginx + Node: address already in use
  • Docker Exits Before Completing Golang Project Build
  • Is there any docker image for git that can be used.

  • Docker error : no space left on device
  • Multiple dockerfiles in one docker or multiple images from one dockerfile
  • no django app created when following the docker-compose tutorial
  • Docker: communication between web container and php container
  • Can't connect Ngxin reverse proxy to Gunicorn on Django container (Docker)
  • HAproxy: dynamic count of hosts for scalability

If there is none, you can quickly build one with a small base image (like Alpine), and a directive like:

    RUN apt-get install git-core --assume-yes

I’ve created a simple docker image that comes packaged with Jenkins, Java8, Git, Maven and NodeJS. This covers most use cases so you don’t have to keep making new Jenkins images every week.
