Docker Compose Shared Folder

I have successfully mounted a folder from Windows 10 to boot2docker.
Now I want to make docker-compose.yml to mount the folder from boot2docker into the container.

How is that possible?

  • Springboot client unable register with Eureka using Docker container id
  • Access Docker from external machine in network
  • Docker with WebHDFS
  • A better way to deploy a Debian-python hybrid application
  • W: Size of file /var/lib/apt/lists/http.debian.net_debian_dists_jessie_main_binary-amd64_Packages.gz is not what the server reported 9101219 9117278

  • One Solution collect form web for “Docker Compose Shared Folder”

Suppose you created in Virtual Box a shared folder win_share and mounted it in boot-to-docker like below:

    sudo mount -t vboxsf win_share /shared

You can mount the directory in the docker-compose.yml as follow:

    ...
    volumes:
    - /shared:/path/in/container
    ...

Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
