Docker Compose Shared Folder

I have successfully mounted a folder from Windows 10 to boot2docker.
Now I want to make docker-compose.yml to mount the folder from boot2docker into the container.

How is that possible?

  • RStudio and Shiny in one dockerfile
  • how to notify error for `restart: on-failure` in docker-compose?
  • How to properly setup a data volume container?
  • Bitbucket Pipelines. Cannot specify windowsservercore docker image
  • Jenkins docker pipeline error
  • regenerating certificates hangs on windows 7
  • Running IBM DOORS in a docker container
  • How to view netstat of a container within another container?
  • Docker - Couldn't connect to Docker daemon
  • Restrict jenkins only on localhost with docker and nginx
  • Running SystemTap inside an unprivileged docker container
  • Docker machine timeout - how to fix without destroying the machine?
  • One Solution collect form web for “Docker Compose Shared Folder”

Suppose you created in Virtual Box a shared folder win_share and mounted it in boot-to-docker like below:

    sudo mount -t vboxsf win_share /shared

You can mount the directory in the docker-compose.yml as follow:

    ...
    volumes:
    - /shared:/path/in/container
    ...

Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
