Docker cannot run

I follow the instructions here:

https://github.com/docker/docker/issues/866#issuecomment-19218300

  • Is docker a solution for making application cross platform?
  • Docker on Windows: how to connect to container from host using container IP?
  • Docker command with env var prepended (local env var)
  • How to use awslog driver in to get the logs from the docker container?
  • Dockerized MongoDB on Heroku?
  • Python: running docker containers with sh and handling UTF-8 decoding errors
  • But get this error:

    docker -d
flag provided but not defined: -d
    See 'docker --help'.

Now I can’t run docker and throws this error:

    docker run -i -t appscale/appscale:latest /bin/bash
docker: Error response from daemon: failed to create endpoint stoic_easley on network bridge: adding interface vethe517512 to bridge docker0 failed: could not find bridge docker0: route ip+net: no such network interface.

  • Trying to create an automated docker build
  • Cron isn't running when I start my docker container
  • Configure docker images as executable
  • Comunication between two docker-compose services?
  • Starting ntp service automatically on Debian running inside Docker container

That comment was from 2013 and an older version of docker daemon.

If you need to restart the docker daemon, you would do a

    sudo restart docker

    Or, with systemd:

    sudo systemctl restart docker

Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
