Docker cannot run

I follow the instructions here:

  • Should I install Docker on Server Having Cpanel already on it?
  • Encoding Problems when running an app in docker (Python, Java, Ruby, …) with Ubuntu Containers (ascii, utf-8)
  • Docker Containers and IO Operations & Network
  • docker configuration: daemon.json to have socket and IP in docker daemon
  • Run go program without Go environment
  • Docker remove all images permission denied
  • But get this error:

    docker -d
flag provided but not defined: -d
    See 'docker --help'.

Now I can’t run docker and throws this error:

    docker run -i -t appscale/appscale:latest /bin/bash
docker: Error response from daemon: failed to create endpoint stoic_easley on network bridge: adding interface vethe517512 to bridge docker0 failed: could not find bridge docker0: route ip+net: no such network interface.

  • Running Docker Under Vagrant
  • running three processes in docker and last .py file not found not found
  • Unable to mount current directory in docker image
  • fallocate failing inside my docker container
  • Unable to modify files in container from docker
  • Implications of exposing /var/lib/docker over NFS to serve hosts with limited memory
  • One Solution collect form web for “Docker cannot run”

That comment was from 2013 and an older version of docker daemon.

If you need to restart the docker daemon, you would do a

    sudo restart docker

    Or, with systemd:

    sudo systemctl restart docker
Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
