Docker cannot run

I follow the instructions here:

  • Docker compose linking to mariaDB
  • Best way to troubleshoot Docker container networking
  • docker-compose with nginx is not working
  • exec not found using Dockerfile ENTRYPOINT
  • Docker Volume not saving
  • Php on docker : Using setLocale
  • But get this error:

    docker -d
flag provided but not defined: -d
    See 'docker --help'.

Now I can’t run docker and throws this error:

    docker run -i -t appscale/appscale:latest /bin/bash
docker: Error response from daemon: failed to create endpoint stoic_easley on network bridge: adding interface vethe517512 to bridge docker0 failed: could not find bridge docker0: route ip+net: no such network interface.

  • Dockerfile or Registry? Which is the preferred strategy for distribution?
  • Docker container exits on non-zero exit status
  • Docker Mysql (Hibernate) Connection
  • Visual Studio Team Service fails Task Docker Build
  • How do I restore a dump file from mysqldump using kubernet?
  • Docker, can't ssh to rhel/centos container on Ubuntu 14.04
  • One Solution collect form web for “Docker cannot run”

That comment was from 2013 and an older version of docker daemon.

If you need to restart the docker daemon, you would do a

    sudo restart docker

    Or, with systemd:

    sudo systemctl restart docker
Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
