Creating a cassandra docker image with initialized KEYSPACE and schema

I am trying to create a Cassandra docker image using docker-compos

I am finding it hard creating containers with configured KEYSPACE and schema without having to run a separate docker exec command on the running container.

  • Cassandra Container Dynamic storage in host
  • Update k8s ConfigMap or Secret without deleting the existing one
  • Working monitoring solution for Docker Containers and Swarm?
  • volume mounts preventing startup in container
  • DevOps Simple Setup
  • docker-compose volumes don't contain latest static code from image
  • Does anyone have an example off how to do this using docker file or docker-compose?

  • Docker(compose) installing nodejs broke npm
  • Docker and bower links
  • How to POST InputStream as the body of a request in Retrofit?
  • Connect Rails/Unicorn/Nginx container to MySQL container
  • Docker port mapping not working
  • How am I supposed to access a named volume from the host?
  • Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
