Create a network for two machines in docker that is not reachable from the host system

Is there a way to create a network with two docker containers in it which is not accessible from the host system?

I search some way to do what is called internal networking in virtualbox.

  • Docker mysql container cannot use a data volume defined on startup
  • Port Forwarding in docker across containers
  • Docker WordPress CPU jumps when selecting featured image
  • Docker development workflow
  • Docker-Compose too many levels of symlinks with NFS
  • sha256 of locally built docker image
  • If it is possible, how? And if it is not, why?

    Thanks 😀

  • use inheritance in docker-compose.yml
  • Difference between 2 varieties of Dockerfiles for running a nodejs app
  • Is there a way to download docker hub images whitout “docker pull” for a machine with out Internet access?

you can adjust iptables rules in each container

Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
