Create a network for two machines in docker that is not reachable from the host system

Is there a way to create a network with two docker containers in it which is not accessible from the host system?

I search some way to do what is called internal networking in virtualbox.

  • OSX terminal vs Docker CLI
  • How to run the COPY and RUN command in same container?
  • how to add localhost to docker machine
  • How can I specify image name with docker-compose
  • Max Depth Exceeded error while creating a Docker image
  • Docker named volume not updating
  • If it is possible, how? And if it is not, why?

    Thanks 😀

  • Docker - Creating base image with RHEL iso
  • Mongodb installation on Docker
  • Docker cannot start MongoDb with attached volume through data-only container
  • Docker cloud repository push: access to the requested resource is not authorized on Fedora 23
  • Jenkins in docker with access to host docker
  • Docker-compose : volumes and user
  • One Solution collect form web for “Create a network for two machines in docker that is not reachable from the host system”

you can adjust iptables rules in each container

Docker will be the best open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications.
